The Bliss Anatomical Headpiece is taken to another level with the XRD padding.

Comfortable, flexible, and lightweight, XRD allows for soft, non-constricting padding and cushioning while still absorbing more than 90% of energy when impacted at high strain rates.

XRD protection has been specially designed to utilise the natural behaviour of polymers to its advantage. It exploits the phenomenon that polymers can act as either a soft or firm material dependent on either temperature or the rate of impact.

In the case of XRD protection, at rest, it is soft and contouring to the touch. But when impacted, the material behaves like a much firmer material, allowing it to readily absorb the energy of an impact.

Thus XRD material acts as a layer of wearable protection. It is soft to the touch, lightweight, contouring, and testing confirms that it absorbs more than 90 percent of energy upon repeated impact.

Because it is lightweight and flexible, like a ‘second skin,’ XRD protection will not constrict freedom of movement or range of motion, allowing users to achieve their peak.
