We love receiving feedback from our customers but especially when there is a great story behind their journey as well!
Bella purchased a Paramour Dressage saddle for her horse Monty last year through saddle fitter Lisa Hoskins at Bespoke Saddlery. Monty is a retired racehorse otherwise know as RoR in the UK (OTTB’s in the US). He was owned by Mrs Helen Cross and Mrs Sarah Keys under the racing name of General Montgomery, after damaging a tendon he came to Bella in 2016. “He is the most affectionate horse I have ever had and is also pretty talented” says Bella. He has hunted, done some unaffiliated eventing, even dabbled in side saddle. He qualified for the RoR dressage championships at Blenheim Palace last year and Bella decided that he needed a decent saddle! “Lisa brought a selection of saddles for us to try but when we tried the Paramour it was an instant decision. It has massively improved my position and Monty moves beautifully in it” explains Bella.
At Bliss we specialise in many different breed types and profiles, with thoroughbreds being high on the list. Understanding the needs of the tree and panel combinations needs helps to allow horses often recently out of training with poor muscular toplines the freedom to develop. Tree and flocking adjustments that can then be subsequently made allow for further changes as the horse continues to develop.
